Event: 6AC (6th Asian Rope Skipping Championships)
Dates: July 21 - July 25, 2011
Location: Mokpo City, South Korea
Cost: 500 US dollars* (*A 100 US$ deposit is also necessary. It will be returned during the participants' stay in Korea.)

August 3, 2010: 6AC Host Country Decision
Today South Korea was chosen to host the 6AC (6th ARSF Asian
Championships). Details regarding the venue and dates will be announced
as soon as they are available. Likely the competition will be held in
late July or early August, 2011. Please contact ARSF Secretary General, Ms. Janet Locke for more

July 28 - August 2, 2010: WC2010
The 8th FISAC-IRSF World Rope Skipping Championships (WC2010) was held
in the United Kingdom. About 700 skippers from 18 different countries
participated, 6 of those being ARSF countries. Many Asian skippers won
medals at the competition, and it was a great experience for everyone.

The bidding procedure information for the 6AC (6th ARSF Asian Rope
Skipping Championships) is now available under the "AC" section of this
ARSF website.  Any 2010 ARSF Full Member Country may apply to host the

February 23, 2010: 6th ARSF Asian Rope Skipping Championships
The ARSF Asian Rope Skipping Championships is held every other year, so
the next championships is scheduled to be held in 2011.  Information on
the bidding process will be provided soon to ARSF member countries.

February 22, 2010: ARSF and ARSC Clarification Statement
Recently another Asian rope skipping organization has been created, with
the name "Asian Rope Skipping Confederation" (ARSC).  The following is a
clarification statement regarding ARSF and ARSC.

1. ARSF and ARSC are two separate organizations, run by different people, with
different bylaws, rules, etc.
2. ARSF is the only affiliated Asian rope skipping organization with FISAC-IRSF.
3. In accordance with FISAC-IRSF rules, in order to participate in FISAC-IRSF
rope skipping events and competitions you may be a member of ARSF, but
you cannot be a member of ARSC.

If you have any further questions regarding ARSF, please contact ARSF
Secretary General, Ms. Janet Locke.  Let's continue to work together to

A few minor changes were made to the ARSF Rulebook.
1. In order to better define the categories, we revised the wording on page 5.
2. We revised the numerical mistakes on page 41, 44, 45, 46.

March 15, 2009: ARSF Judges Course
The ARSF Board of Directors has approved an ARSF Judges Course, designed by ARSF Technical Director, Mr. Jason Chan.
This course is available to all ARSF countries.

An official announcement was made by the ARSF Secretariat that the 5th Asian Rope Skipping Championships (5ARSC) will officially be held in July 2009 in Hong Kong, China. Information and registration documents were sent out to the ARSF country representatives.
